Systems-based thinking

We naturally think about things in a particular order or manner of fact. The steps we were taught on how to scramble an egg, start up a car, or even tie one's shoelaces, are all patterns that one adopts in carrying out a complex task in a simple, methodical manner.

When it comes down to learning things or applying things at work, some meta-cognitive thinking must be applied. We need to re-examine the ways in which a task is carried out - the general goal of that task, the data used as the starting point of the output, and the steps taken to mould the data into the goal that one desires.

With the advent of AI, that sort of thinking must be applied to find out ways one can enhance / augment one's workflow.
